Who am I...

I can't recall how and when I fell into ballet. The oldest memory I have is myself as a child collecting clippings from newspaper regarding ballet. I think I was fascinated to beauty of ballet from TV or something-I loved beautiful dancers wearing glittery costume dancing gracefully.

Based in Seoul, South Korea, I try to see all important ballet performances held in Seoul. We have two local ballet companies-Korea National Ballet and Universal Ballet. We don't have many touring companies-for example Mariinsky ballet visited Korea in 2010 after a 15 year hiatus, and Paris Opera Ballet never visited us after 1993. Stuttgart Ballet is the only one who visits on regular basis-every two or three years, as they have Korean prima ballerina Sue Jin Kang. To see some of my favorite dancers, I had to travel to Russia, Germany, France, United Kingdom and Japan. I always plan my vacation to see ballet!

I have a passion for ballet photography and have distributed my pictures to few Korean media. On the web, my pictures are mainly uploaded to Dancetabs.
